    Are there any places that you can take worn out clothing to be made into rags for industrial use in the Illawarra?

    Hi Georgia,

    Check with your local op shop as some of them have an arrangement where they can sell there rags for 25c per kilo and they are then recycled. Please avoid dropping them off without first checking as you may increase the chance of them ending up as land fill and inadvertently impose a disposal cost onto the charity.

    If your local op shop does not have an arrangement with a reclaimer you will find that most mechanical repair workshop are greatful for "rags"
