Sustainable Illawarra Superchat > Wild Food

Does anyone have any experience with wild food collection in our region? It could be native or introduced, but I'm interested in the idea even as a novelty of supplementing our diet with some true local food.

For instance I know Rocket, Fennel and Nasturtiums have gone wild down along the lake and alone creek beds (quite a problem, but tasty) There's still blackberries around if you know where to look...

I've picked a few wild/feral foods around Kiama area:

    Lillipillies (also known as riberries)

Feral peaches made a nice filo dessert
