Sustainable Illawarra Superchat > HAVE YOU HAD YOUR FREE SUSTAINABLITY ASSESSMENT YET?

    Hello Everyone,

I have posted before regarding the Governments Green Loans Program. I am one of the local assessors in your area and also a participant in the Illawarra Super Challengers Intake 1.

I would love to be able to Assess as many homes as possible to help you guys on your Sustainable journey and to help reduce your energy and water bills.

Home owners and tenants are all welcome to have there home assessed and you do not need to apply for the Green Loan afterwards. We just want to help you reduce your energy and water consumption.

Please call me direct on 0414 620 467 to make your appointment at a time suitable for you and please feel free to email or phone with any questions regarding the Green Loans and the Free Assessments.

Yep, had it done yesterday. It was quick and easy and I'm looking forward to receiving my report.

I had a green assessment home inspection around 2 months ago and still havent heard anything. How long does it take to receive the report?

    Hi Sheryl,
I had one done also, and it took almost 2 months for me to get the report. Apart from the report they wrote we would get more info - about the green loan- and a $50 voucher, but now, 2 months later have not heard anything ever again. It is very frustrating, and I can only imagine the government division is overwhelmed and has not enough staff to process??? (Also still waiting for a refund for hot water rebate... that is now over 3 months ago.)

    Hi Guys,

Yes the reports are taking a while to come back.. Some times about 4 weeks. After the assessor has come out they input the information and then it gets sent off to the goverment department.

The Department was closed for 3 weeks over Christmas and are now have huge computer problems. Im sure they should not be too much longer. YOu can always call the 1800 number and if you have your Booking number they can chase it up for you.

Im not sure whats happening with the $50 vouchers, they have not said. I had my assessment done in August, last year and i still have not gotten my voucher either.

    Hope this info helps.

We had our assessment done 4 months ago and still haven't got anything despite several phone calls where we were promised it would be done 'soon'.

I would ask your assessor to have a copy of the one they did. Its easy for them to simply print it out and post it to you. You can use this copy for the bank. The Green Loans are very behind at the moment. You will eventually recieve the original. Donna.
